Stephanie Marcus was born and raised in New Jersey, USA.

She’s a coffee drinker, plant mom, diver, violinist, and sometimes photographer and rock climber.

She lived in Sendai, Japan, & Dresden, Germany, before moving to her current residence in New York City.

Completing a PhD in neuroscience and genomics, she is a strong advocate for women in science and equitable work environments.
